Graves is the historic home of Bordeaux's great dry whites, where gravel soils and the classic blend of sauvignon blanc and sémillon produce wines that combine freshness with texture, often refined in oak. Crisp, mineral, and classically Graves, Jouvente Blanc 2022 balances that freshness with quiet richness. Sauvignon blanc and sauvignon gris bring lift and vivid aromatics, while sémillon and muscadelle add depth, and nine months on fine lees in French oak give it a refined, textured finish. An elegant, food-friendly white Bordeaux, equally suited to aperitif service or the table.
Château Jouvente is an 8.7-hectare family property in Illats, in the heart of the Graves appellation. The vineyard is farmed sustainably, with HVE level 3 certification, a biocontrol program instead of conventional treatments, and grapes sorted by hand right on the vine. The estate's wines have won the Graves appellation trophy several times and are poured at gastronomic and Michelin-starred restaurants.
