Ground Around was named by Santa Barbara Winemaker Doug Margerum for it's earthy and rich flavors. 5% stem inclusion during long cold soaks and fermentations. The wine was aged for 2 years in 20% new French and American barrels and 1 year in bottle prior to release. Drink it now or age another 7-10 years. Only 220 cases produced.
