Monforte d'Alba is well known for Barolos rich in tannins. For this Barolo, Ca Brusa harvest only the best grapes in Bricco San Pietro , extract all the tannins and then wait 6 years before releasing Barolo Vai. This Barolo has a bright color, intense garnet red with slightly orange reflections, the nose is distinctly broad with notes of plum, violet, cinnamon, cherry and licorice. The whole experience is framed by the wonderful aromas that are released and the wines beautiful texture. On the palate it is full-bodied, warm and round, with appealing long aftertaste.
