Cousins Koldo and Eduardo Eguren are the scions of one of the most famous winemaking families in Rioja, so its no surprise that this youthful Tempranillo is so good. Five Parcels in four villages - Assa, Llanos, Miralobueno , Prado and Puntido - make up this blend, producing a polished, medium-weight red with subtle oak , violet and rose petal scents and vibrant energetic plum and black cherry fruit. The fruit-driven red 2019 Senderos de Ukan has at its core de-stemmed Tempranillo from different plots of vines fermented separately. It has 13.5% alcohol and good freshness , a juicy palate and fine tannins , making it very pleasant and approachable . Concrete tanks and then 14 months in oak.
